Check websites and call ahead if you make these events part of your itinerary. In case there are changes. Enjoy the run-up to summer in Myrtle Beach!

Tips for a spring trip to the beach

It’s not summer — but it feels better than winter. As you venture out to the Grand Strand this spring, you’ll have to remember a hoodie and sunscreen. Here are tips to get you by.

1. Bring baby powder

Lifehack: Use it to remove wetness from your hair and skin so that sand won’t stick to you. It’s especially effective between your toes and other hard-to-reach areas.

2. Stock up on sunscreen

Don’t wait until you get to the beach. Also, get the spray-on variety so you can spritz and go more often.

3. Take a pill container

They’re convenient to stow jewelry or small hair ties. Also, pills you might need, such as aspirin.
